- - Products must be in new, unused, unaltered and in resale-able condition.
- - All returns must include the original product packaging.
- - All returns must be accompanied by the original sales invoice.
- - Special order and items indicated as “non-returnable” are ineligible for return.
- - All returns require prior authorization.
If an item needs to be returned, please contact our customer service department during normal business hours at (714) 485-4125 to obtain a return authorization number and instructions. Returns sent C.O.D. or freight collect will not be accepted.
All returns must be properly packaged, adequately insured, and the return authorization number must be clearly visible on the outside of the package. Returns without prior authorization will not be accepted.
Refunds will be applied to the original form of payment. If the original form of payment is no longer valid, then the refund will be issued in the form of a store credit applied to your RustyNutzRodz.com account. Store credit is not redeemable for cash.
All sales are final for international orders.
Standard orders may be cancelled until processed for shipment. Once an order has been processed for shipment, the order is subject to the terms of our Return Policy. Special and custom order items must be prepaid in full and cannot be cancelled.
If an order is refused for delivery, then Rusty Nutz & Rodz will be entitled to recover the cost of freight to and from the destination.
Damage Claims (FedEx, UPS, USPS)
Whenever possible, check the contents of your shipment in the presence of the carrier delivering the package. If damage has occurred during transit, please notify our customer service department within 3 days by calling (714) 485-4125. Timing of this notification is critical, as we must comply with requirements set forth by freight carriers.
Rusty Nutz & Rodz will manage the claim process with the appropriate freight carrier. Replacement parts are generally sent within two business days of receiving a claim number from the carrier.
If you initiate the claims process with the freight carrier, then Rusty Nutz & Rodz will not send replacement parts. You will be responsible for managing the claims process with the freight carrier, waiting for payment, and then placing a new order to replace the damaged parts.
Damage Claims (Truck Freight)
All shipments sent by truck freight must be inspected at the time of delivery. Do not sign for the shipment until you have thoroughly inspected the product for transportation damage (even if the box does not appear to have external damage). Do not feel pressured by a delivery driver to sign anything before you are comfortable with the condition of the item. If there is any damage, then you must mark "FREIGHT DAMAGED" on the bill of lading before signing it. Please contact us immediately at (714) 485-4125 if you receive an item that has been damaged during transportation by truck freight.
Always check the contents of your delivered package to ensure that all parts ordered were received. If a shortage occurs, please contact our customer service department at (714) 485-4125 within 72 hours of delivery. Please be sure to check the enclosed invoice for back orders prior to contacting our customer service team.
We strive to maintain adequate inventory for all of the products we offer. However, shifts in manufacturing and consumer demand can cause us to temporarily deplete stock on any item. If this occurs, the invoice located inside of the package will indicate which items were not available at the time your order was shipped. Back order items are typically shipped once they are received in our warehouse without additional customer notification. If you wish to cancel a back order, please contact our customer service department at (714) 485-4125. All back orders are subject to the terms of our Cancellation and Return Policies.
Some states require you to report all purchases of tangible or digital property that are not taxed by Rusty Nutz & Rodz, and to pay use tax on those purchases. It is your responsibility to have familiarity with the tax laws in your state and to file to pay this tax, as required.
All orders shipped to an address within California are subject to the current sales tax rate for Orange County, California (currently 8.00%). Due to regular variations in California sales tax, the rate is subject to change without notice.

The arbitration shall be conducted in Yorba Linda, California, and judgment on the arbitration award may be entered into any court having jurisdiction thereof. Either you or we may seek any interim or preliminary relief from a court of competent jurisdiction in Yorba Linda, California necessary to protect the rights or property of you and us pending the completion of arbitration. Each party shall bear one-half of the arbitration fees.
